In my Project “Beauty of the Time”, I, as an artist, strive to capture the beauty inevitable transitions of life. My latest series is photographs with dark floral compositions where partially withered flowers serve as a metaphor for the delicate balance between life and death. Through these images, I explore the themes of the existential crisis, aging and acceptance of mortality.
For me, the process of creating these images was deeply personal. When I thought about the meaning of my life and the difficulty of accepting my own mortality, growing up, aging and changes in my body - I was attracted by the beauty of flowers at all stages of their life.
The every process of creating a photograph includes the stage of observation, during which I photograph different states of flowers and wait for the very moment that attracts me most of all: when the flowers are already on the verge, but at the same time remain artistic. And the light (I photograph mostly in natural light), shape and condition - natural combined in the right combination to convey the melancholic beauty as much as possible withered flowers, fragility and fickleness of life.
Through my photographs, I hope to inspire for a deeper understanding of the fleeting nature of existence and encourage viewers to contemplate their own mortality with a sense of acceptance and peace while living in the here and now. Ultimately, I believe that by accepting life's inevitable transitions, we can find beauty and meaning even in our darkest moments.
